Zodiac

The Zodiac is a circle of twelve divisions, referred to as signs, which are associated with specific time periods of the year in Western astrology. Each sign corresponds to a 30-degree segment of the celestial ecliptic, which is the path the Sun appears to take across the sky throughout the year. The signs of the Zodiac are Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces. Traditionally, the Zodiac is used in astrology to interpret and represent personality traits, behaviors, and potential future events based on an individual’s birth date. The concept traces back to ancient Babylonian astronomy and has been utilized in various cultures for centuries, influencing traditions, horoscopes, and astrological charts.
